NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Independent music publisher Kobalt announced that longtime senior staff member Bob Bruderman has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Digital Officer.
In his new role, Bruderman will continue to oversee digital strategy for Kobalt, including maintaining the company’s partnerships with established streaming partners such as YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, and Soundcloud while developing relationships with emerging digital partners.
Based in New York City, Bruderman will continue to report to Kobalt CEO Laurent Hubert.
Bruderman first joined the Kobalt team in 2013 and most recently held the role of Executive Vice President, Global Digital Business at the music publisher. Before he joined kobalt, Bruderman held a variety of roles at Sony Music Entertainment. He also serves on the board of directors at ASCAP, the Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC) and the Digital Data Exchange (DDEX).
