This boutique festival promises three unforgettable nights featuring headliners Black Pumas, Sierra Ferrell, and Paul Cauthen alongside a lineup that spans genres and rising stars with The Record Company, Americana favorite Jaime Wyatt, The Lil Smokies and many more.
While the festival is a celebration of music, it goes beyond with an emphasis on outdoor adventure. Located at the Cougar Ridge Resort, just a stone’s throw away from Capitol Reef National Park, Fort Desolation Fest showcases the enchanting beauty of Utah’s “Mighty Five” national parks. Nightly performances allow attendees to spend their days exploring the breathtaking red rock cliffs, canyons, and arches of southern Utah. Outdoor enthusiasts can indulge in fly-fishing, cycling, off-roading, and cruising the Capitol Reef Scenic Drive.
In line with this commitment, Fort Desolation Fest has expanded its camping options for 2024. The campgrounds, known for after-hours jams and campsite cook-offs, will now include the new Sidewinder Campground, a short walk from the main stage. Excitingly, the festival introduces a glamping option, offering a luxurious camping experience in Scandinavian-style tents.
