LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Live Nation UK has announced the promotion of Stephanie Van Spronsen from associate to full-time Live Nation promoter.
Van Spronsen began her career at Visible Noise Records working with acts such as Bring Me The Horizon and Bullet For My Valentine, before branching out as a Radio/TV Plugger at The Noise Cartel. Focusing her attention on the rock and metal genres, Van Spronsen went on to work with acts including Alice Cooper, Asking Alexandria, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Papa Roach, and as part of the PR team overseeing multiple festivals including Sonisphere, Bloodstock, and Hellfest.
Since joining Live Nation UK as an associate promoter in 2017, Van Spronsen has become the first female on the Download Festival booking team, worked with a number of touring acts such as J.Cole, Zara Larsson, Architects, Parkway Drive and PVRIS, and helped to launch the WWE NXT UK wrestling live shows in the UK.
Commenting on their latest hire, Andy Copping, Executive President of UK Touring said: “It’s great news that we can add Steph to Live Nation’s growing female promoter base. Steph has been working with me on Download and her ability and drive are phenomenal. Live Nation is wholly committed to recognising talent like hers and nurturing it for future leadership.”
Denis Desmond, Chairman of Live Nation UK and Ireland added: “Andy’s team continues to build its talent base. Our long-term investment applies as much to our promoters as it does to our artists. The UK team just gets stronger and stronger and I am delighted for Steph and excited for Live Nation.”
