SANTA ANA, CA (CelebrityAccess) — The members of a Polish death metal band were arrested in Santa Ana, California, on Saturday on suspicion of kidnapping a woman after their August 31st concert at The Pin in Spokane.
According to the Spokesman-Journal, Spokane Police Department spokeswoman Cpl. Teresa Fuller said a woman reported that she had been kidnapped by the band shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. Fuller said she believes the woman attended the concert.
The four band members were arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office after their concert in Santa Ana on Friday and were identified by police as 27-year-old Michal M. Lysejko, 35-year-old Waclaw J. Kieltyka, 31-year-old Rafal T. Piotrowski and 30-year-old Hubert E. Wiecek, the Spokane Spokesman-Journal said.
Defense attorney Steve Graham, who says he is representing the band, told the Spokesman-Journal that his clients dispute the charges.
“There is another side to this,” Graham told the newspaper. “We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit the band of her own free will and left on good terms.”
The band was on their “Double Homicide” tour with Thy Art Is Murder.
