]]> Ariana Grande has been paid $8 million for her two headline performances at Coachella, according to NME.

The legendary moment, immortalized in the movie and book “The Dirt,” where Ozzy Osbourne snorts a line of ants didn’t happen, according to former Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, who told Tone-Talk in a recent interview. “I was right there. He snorted a little spider. There was not a trail of fucking ants there. Tommy [Lee] says it, Nikki says it, Ozzy says it – they were fucked up. I was not. … I don’t care what the other guys say – there was no ants.”

A recent report that Howard Stern is retiring from radio appears to be a quip that was taken too seriously.

]]> Rocklahoma, scheduled for the “Catch The Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Okla., May 24-25, has replaced an ailing Ozzy Osbourne with Korn as its Saturday night headliner.

OppiKoppi, a music festival held in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, has been canceled this year, according to a statement by Matchbox Live CEO Theresho Selsesho, because of a crime wave that swept last year’s festival and an increase of crime over the past several festivals, and a one-year break will give organizers ” the breathing room to redesign the festival and bring in the necessary changes without impacting the festival goer by increasing ticket prices.”

Hong Kong stars Liza Wang and Adam Cheng, who acted together in the two TV drama series in the 1970s, are performing together next month at a concert in Singapore.

]]> Live Nation has been renovating its Denver properties the Fillmore Auditorium, The Summit and The Marquis Theater and Westword took a photographer to all of them and compiled a slideshow capturing everything from the bars to the bathrooms.

The Float Fest Music Festival in Seguin, Texas, which last year featured Tame Impala, Bassnectar, Snoop Dogg and Modes Mouse, has been denied a permit by the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court because of the condition of the two-lane road used for ingress/egress but it appears to “bump in the road” as it were as appeals are on the way.

Rock-n-rollers aren’t the only ones going on tour: 80-year-old Ian McKellen is going on an 80-venue solo tour, starting at London’s The Space yesterday and ending Sept. 15 at the National Theatre’s Olivier, of the UK to raise funds for theatres.

The Light The Way Christian Music Festival, a free Christian music concert that draws 21,000 in Rogersville, Mo., is moving to the east side of Jamestown Plaza for the first time for the July 12-13 rendition.

Ticket prices for the Super Bowl continue to drop, from $8,130 to $6,565, but the trend is following a similar pattern to 2018 and 2017.
