CANBERRA, ACT (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for Spilt Milk, the touring Australia music festival, announced that the event will not take place in 2024 and will go on an indefinite hiatus.

“Sorry pookies, we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year 🥲 Sooo imma dip for a bit and come back when I can make all ur dreams come true 🫶 i miss u xx” festival organizers shared on social media.

Founded by Ryan Sabet and Jeff Drake’s Kicks Entertainment, the festival has sold out within minutes every year since its launch since it debuted in Canberra in 2016.

In 2019, the festival brand expanded with a launch in Ballarat, followed by the Gold Coast in 2021 and then Perth the following year, with some interruptions inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2023 edition of the event included headliners such as Post Malone, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, and Dermot Kennedy, while past editions have featured international artists such as Khalid, Juice Wrld, Chvrches, and RL Grime, among others.

The Live Nation-owned Australian promoter, Secret Sounds Group, acquired Kicks Entertainment and Spilt Milk in 2022 for an undisclosed amount.

Spilt Milk joins a growing list of Australian music festivals that have been canceled for 2024 that includes Splendour in the Grass, another Secret Sounds event that was canceled just weeks after announcing its 2024 lineup, and Groovin The Moo, which was canceled in February due to slow ticket sales.
