BOSTON (CelebrityAccess) — Nashville-based singer-songwriter-pianist Jarrod Lawson has signed with the boutique The Kurland Agency for worldwide representation.
The signing follows the release of Lawson’s latest collaboration, the R&B slow jam entitled “Next Move” with up-and-coming Los Angeles vocalist Raquel Rodriguez via Dome Records on July 26th.
The song, an homage to the great ballads of the 90’s R&B era, recounts the story of romantic intrigue between two strangers.
Lawson made his debut in 2014 but had his biggest career moment to date in 2022 when he received a glowing endorsement in print from Michelle Obama, who was asked by Entertainment Weekly who she was listening to and, after mentioning Beyoncé’s Renaissance album, added “There’s this young jazz, blue-eyed soul kid Jarrod Lawson that I’m loving….”
At TKA, Lawson will be repped by agent Jack Randall.
